The National Immigration Administration has announced that starting from December 17, 2024, the stay duration for foreign nationals eligible for visa-free transit has been extended from the previous 72 hours and 144 hours to 240 hours (10 days) . Additionally, 21 ports of entry and exit have been added for visa-free transit individuals, further expanding the allowed areas for visa-free transit travelers. Individuals from 54 eligible countries, including Russia, Brazil, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Canada, traveling from Chinato a third country (region), can enter visa-free through any of the 60 open ports in 24 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), and travel cross provinces within designated areas.

合适要求的外籍游客，捏用灵验期不少于3个月的本东谈主护照和240小时内已敬佩日历及座位的前去第三国（地区）的联程客票或关系阐明并填写异邦东谈主临时入境卡，可向太原武宿海外机场的山西进出境边防检查站建议央求，经照章办理过境手续后入境。

Eligible foreign travelers who hold a passport with at least three months of validity and interline passenger tickets or other documents with a specified date and seat to a third country (region) within 240 hours, complete the Arrival Card for Temporary Entry Foreigners, can apply to the Shanxi Immigration Inspection Station in Taiyuan Wusu International Airport. After completing the required entry procedures, they can enter China.

免签停留时候自入境次日零时起算。比如：游客2025年1月1日入境中国，停留期从2025年1月2日零时起算，最多可在免签停留区域内停留10天，即1月11日24时前离境。

The duration of stay for each foreign traveler starts from 0:00 on the day following the day of entry. For example: A foreign traveler enters China on January 1st, 2025. The period of stay is calculated from 00:00 on January 2nd, 2025. Traveler can stay in the designated areafor a maximum of 10 days, and depart before 24:00 on January 11th.

防御举止边界：入境后，外籍游客可依照规矩在太原市、大同市或跨省旅行，合理指标旅游门道，不得超边界停留。

Note the allowed activity area: After entering, foreign travelers are allowed to travel within Taiyuan city, Datong City or cross provinces, but they must plan their travel routes reasonably and not exceed the designated areas.

恪守停留规矩：在华停留本事要恪守中执法律规矩，入境后24小时内在栈房或公安派出所办理住宿登记。240小时内可从事旅游、商务、造访、省亲等举止。

Comply with stayregulations: During their stay in China, foreign nationals must adhere to Chineselaws. They must register at a hotel or local police station within 24 hours of arrival. Within the 240-hour period, they can engage in tourism, business, visiting, or family-related activities.
